Modern Castle's run cleaned "our entire area without issue. It never got stuck, avoided obstacles, and returned to its charger", and the dock holds debris for weeks, so the run closes without a human. The shortfall is thoroughness, not area: Tom's Guide measured 72.5% dog hair off carpet against 97% for the s9+, and Consumer Reports found human hair wrapping the brush roll instead of reaching the bin.

OwnershipWhat actual runtime and coverage per charge?

iRobot publishes no runtime or square-footage figure for the j7+. The robot cleans until the battery runs low, returns to the Clean Base, recharges, and resumes where it stopped until the job is finished, so a single charge does not cap coverage.
