What a carpeted home asks of each one
Only Dreame (20,000 Pa) and Roborock (10,000 Pa) print a suction figure. In independent embedded-sand tests the S8 MaxV Ultra scored 76% and the X50 Ultra 83%; the j7+ scored 91 in a separate test. In a pet hair test the S8 MaxV Ultra caught 59% of hair in its rollers and the X50 Ultra 0%.

Which of these print a suction figure?
Dreame prints 20,000 Pa for the X50 Ultra and Roborock prints 10,000 Pa for the S8 MaxV Ultra. iRobot and Shark pages for the j7+ and Matrix Plus give no pascal figure.
Does any of them mop carpet?
Dreame says the X50 Ultra lifts its mop 0.41 in (10.5 mm) and Roborock says the S8 MaxV Ultra lifts up to 0.79 in (20 mm). The j7+ page lists no mop. Shark’s page gave no lift figure.
How did they do with pet hair?
A lab saw 0% hair tangling on the X50 Ultra and 59% on the S8 MaxV Ultra’s rollers. It saw some wrap on the j7+, and the Matrix Plus left about two-thirds of a 5 g hair sample.
