No. HydroComm Pro is a floating accessory, sold separately at around $500 or included in the $2,299 bundle against $1,799 for the robot alone. It relays the app signal underwater, so you get live status, mode switching and one-click retrieval while the robot is submerged, and it reads water chemistry. Navigation, cleaning and charging are identical without it.

OperationHow does FlexiPath 2.0 navigation differ from older Aiper Scuba models?

FlexiPath 2.0 combines OmniSense+ 2.0 ultrasonic sensor array with onboard mapping. Adaptive pathfinding adjusts to pool shape and debris location dynamically, classified Level III. Older Scuba models used pre-programmed zone navigation (Level II).

OperationWhat is the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max runtime per charge?

Aiper publishes up to 10 hours in surface-cleaning mode and up to 5 hours on the pool floor, with 3,200 sq ft of rated coverage per charge. Charging is done on a wireless deck-side caddy that the robot can sit on while still wet.
