SwitchBot K10+ Pro

The K10+ Pro delivers Level III autonomy in a 248mm frame. Suction and LiDAR are genuine category upgrades for the size, and the 4L auto-empty station takes the onboard bin out of the routine entirely. The trade-offs are coverage per run in larger open layouts, and a mopping attachment that is a disposable cloth with no water spray and no carpet detection.

Position shows where the figure sits across the tracked category, not a quality judgment. Suction in Pascals has no standard test method, and the published figure is a peak-mode claim, so it is comparable only within a brand and generation.

OWNERSHIP

Living with it.

Compact platform with proven LiDAR navigation; dock reliability data limited.

LiDAR navigation inherits SwitchBot's established reliability patterns. Dock durability for the compact form is undocumented in longitudinal owner reports; the smaller motor and bin present unknown wear profiles.

Seasonal4×/yr
Replace the dock dust bag. The robot discharges its onboard bin into the station automatically and SwitchBot's listing rates the 4L station at up to 70 days between bag changes, so emptying is not a weekly task. · Main brush or side brush replacement (~$15-25 per set).

Common questions

What people actually ask.

4 answered
OperationDoes the K10+ Pro's 248mm size affect mapping accuracy on large homes?
LiDAR creates accurate room maps regardless of size. The constraint is coverage-per-cycle: the smaller footprint means multi-run sessions in homes over 1,500 sqft. Mapping quality itself is not compromised.
OperationCan the K10+ Pro fit under furniture designed for standard 350mm vacuums?
Yes; the 248mm diameter allows access under most beds, sofas, and low-clearance furniture. This is the primary advantage over full-size competitors in clutter-heavy homes.
OperationHow often does the K10+ Pro need emptying?
The robot discharges its onboard bin into the dock automatically after a run. SwitchBot’s listing rates the 4L station at up to 70 days of self-emptying, so the recurring task is a bag change every couple of months rather than emptying a bin by hand.
OperationDoes the K10+ Pro mop?
Yes, in a basic form. A disposable cloth attaches to the underside of the robot. There is no water tank or spray and no carpet detection, so the cloth has to be fitted before the run and taken off before the robot crosses onto carpet. Dock and mop-attachment options vary by market region; check the regional product page.
