The 100°C steam is applied to the mop pads inside the Clean Station Steam+, not to the floor: the station washes the pads at 50-60°C, sanitizes them at 100°C and dries them at 55°C. No. The 100°C steam is applied to the mop pads inside the Clean Station, not to the floor, so there is no surface sanitization claim for carpet or for hard floor. On carpet the robot vacuums: under 5mm of pile it retracts the pads, and above 5mm it leaves them at the station first.
