Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni

OZMO Roller rotates rather than oscillates, and washes itself as it goes: 16 nozzles re-wet the roller with clean water while a scraper strips the dirty water into a waste tank, so the mop is not spreading what it just picked up. The station empties the bin, washes the roller with hot water and dries it with hot air, which removes mop handling from the routine. What remains is filling and draining the station's two tanks and keeping the bag and brushes stocked.

The roller turns at 200 rpm against the floor while the robot is cleaning, and it is washed continuously as it turns: 16 nozzles apply clean water and a scraper strips the dirty water into a waste tank. The X1 Omni’s OZMO Turbo 2.0 discs spin at 180 rpm and hold what they pick up until the robot returns to the station.

No. The OZMO Roller stays on the robot and washes itself during the run, and the station then washes it with hot water and dries it with hot air. There are no pads to remove, rinse or replace on a weekly schedule.
OperationIs the hot water actual hot water or a marketing claim?
Ecovacs specifies temperature-controlled hot water washing across a 40 to 75 C range and sells the model on 167 F mop washing. The drying stage is separate and uses 63 C air. Hot water is in the wash path on this station, unlike docks that heat only the drying air.
OperationHow much floor space does the station need?
The station is 350 x 477 x 533 mm with its base, about 13.8 by 18.8 inches on the floor and 21 inches tall. That is narrower than the 448 mm X1 Omni and T20 Omni stations. Every Omni station Ecovacs has sold is a single integrated unit, so there is no separate wash module to find room for.
