Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni

An 81 mm body that clears furniture taller robots stop at, with TruEdge 2.0 extending the side brush and the mop plate to the perimeter rather than just one of them. The Omni station washes at 70C, dries at 45C, empties into a 3 L bag and doses its own solution, which is where the owner labor goes on machines without one. Shipping since May 2025 at 15,000 Pa.

Position shows where the figure sits across the tracked category, not a quality judgment. Suction in Pascals has no standard test method, and the published figure is a peak-mode claim, so it is comparable only within a brand and generation.

OWNERSHIP

Living with it.

Unproven in market; Ecovacs track record supports engineering confidence but firmware maturity takes 2-3 cycles post-launch.

Ultra-slim 81mm body and TruEdge mopping are novel engineering. Ecovacs S-series dock history is solid, but T50 Pro Omni specifics and suction capacity under form-factor constraints remain undocumented. <18 months in-market.

Safety notes

NoteUltra-slim clearance under furniture: 81mm body fits low-clearance spaces but increases entrapment risk; test under beds and sofas in first week.

CautionDock water drainage on hard floors: Omni dock auto-drying may splash water during cycles; position dock on washable surface or tile.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
OperationWhen did the T50 Pro Omni launch?
Ecovacs launched the T50 Pro Omni in May 2025. It has been on sale for more than a year, listed by Ecovacs US and by major US retailers, with independent reviews published from May 2025 onward.
OperationWhat is TruEdge mopping?
Ecovacs calls it TruEdge 2.0, and it works on both cleaning paths. A side brush extends dynamically as the robot passes a wall or a corner, and the mop plate moves continuously to hold the pad about 1 mm from the edge. Ecovacs describes the result as edge and corner coverage on hard floors; behavior at carpet edges is not documented.
OperationHow does the ultra-slim 81mm body affect suction or water capacity?
Ecovacs publishes the figures. Suction is 15,000 Pa, the robot carries a 55 ml water tank, and the station holds 4 L of clean water and 4 L of dirty water. The onboard tank is small, and the station is what refills it rather than the owner topping it up between rooms.
OperationIs the Omni dock compatible with prior Ecovacs models?
Ecovacs has not confirmed backward compatibility. Dock design varies by model; assume the T50 Pro Omni uses a proprietary dock system until published specifications confirm otherwise.
OperationWhat does the Omni station do between runs?
Ecovacs documents the station washing the mop in 70C water, drying it with 45C air on a cycle of two to four hours, emptying the robot’s dust bin into a 3 L bag, and dosing cleaning solution automatically. It also holds the 4 L clean and 4 L dirty water tanks the robot draws on.
