PCMag reports it 'did a thorough job of cleaning my 16-by-32-foot in-ground pool' and self-parks at the wall and expels water at cycle end or below 15% battery. Tom's Guide, however, found a whole soil class survives the run: it 'does a very mediocre job vacuuming finer dirt and sand,' its scrubbing wheel 'did more to kick the dirt and sand up from the bottom of the pool to suspend it in the water and make the pool appear clean, only to see it sitting at the bottom again after a cleaning cycle,' and the basket fills mid-run so the robot parks and asks to be emptied.

Yes. Beatbot specifies saltwater compatibility up to 5,000 ppm, which covers typical salt chlorine generator pools, on an IP68 sealed body carrying ETL and CEC certification. Rinse the unit with fresh water after each use, as with any equipment used in salt water.

OperationHow long does the battery last, and can I upgrade it?

Beatbot publishes up to 9.5 hours of surface cleaning and up to 5 hours of floor cleaning from the 10,400 mAh pack. The battery is sealed inside the IP68 housing and is not user-serviceable; replacement goes through an authorized service center.

OwnershipWhat filter type does it use, and how often should I replace it?
