The station empties the robot’s dust bin automatically when it docks; Ecovacs sells the model as an auto-empty vacuum and mop. Manual bin emptying is not part of routine operation.
OperationWhat happens to the spinning-mop head when the T30S Pro transitions from hard floors to carpet?
Ultrasonic carpet detection raises the mop pads 9 mm as the robot crosses onto carpet, then lowers them on return to hard floor. Ecovacs documents this as auto-mop lifting, so mixed-floor runs need no pad removal.
