Ecovacs Deebot Neo 4.0
A low-cost Australian robot vacuum that three independent tests found vacuums hard floors and carpet well. It has no auto-empty dock, its dustbin fills quickly, its mopping plate only freshens floors, and it bumps into and sometimes pushes small objects.

Will the Ecovacs Deebot Neo 4.0 work in your home?
Describe your home using the controls. Each choice reads the spec sheet for you, flagging where the Ecovacs Deebot Neo 4.0 is built for your space and where it isn’t.
A classification of fit for the conditions you set, not a recommendation. Verdicts describe engineering design intent, not test results.

Position shows where the figure sits across the tracked category, not a quality judgment. Suction in Pascals has no standard test method, and the published figure is a peak-mode claim, so it is comparable only within a brand and generation.
Living with it.
Only days on sale, with three short independent tests.
GadgetGuy, EFTM and Digital Reviews Network reported no faults, but all three noted manual bin emptying and mop washing, and obstacle handling was clumsy. No long-term owner record exists yet.
CautionRuns over cables and power boards: GadgetGuy saw it run over a power board; keep cords off the floor.
NoteLight dock can shift: GadgetGuy found the light dock moves if its cable is pulled; coil excess cable behind it.
