Vacuum Wars' bench tests put pet hair pickup at 29 percent against a category average of 81 percent, with 79 percent of the 7-inch hair test wrapped around the main brush against a 38 percent average, and note that "Roomba includes a hair-removing tool to manually address hair wrapping," so a person routinely finishes the job by hand. It does service itself between runs via the auto-empty dock and has "Recharge & Resume" so it can top up and finish a long job, but coverage per charge measured 630 sq ft against an average of 1,015.
