No. LiDAR mapping replaces wire-based boundaries. Digital room boundaries and virtual no-go zones are set via the iRobot app.

iRobot publishes no runtime figure for the 105 Vac, so the numbers in circulation are third-party rather than manufacturer specifications. Coverage per charge depends on floor size and navigation paths.
OperationCan the Roomba 105 work on both carpet and hard floors?
Yes. Brush design handles both. Owner reports describe good suction on low-pile and hard floors; high-pile carpet performance is documented as reduced compared to flagship models.
