Trusted Reviews found that in Automatic mode the 30C 'will bounce around until it has run out of battery', and that while 'this robot can clean an entire room', 'it may take it a while and you might need some of the other modes to get the best clean', with dust left in the recesses between tiles. TechAdvisor's testing described the result as 'a useful interim clean that meant we didn't have to drag Henry the Hoover out from under the stairs quite so often', so a human still finishes the job on a routine cycle, and with no auto-empty dock the bin is emptied by hand.

MightyGadget confirms there is no mapping layer at all: it 'lacks the Smart Dynamic Navigation the new G30 series has or the AI mapping the L70 has, so it moves around haphazardly', and 'thanks to its long run time, it always seems to get everything, eventually', which is completion that depends on run time.
