CompatibilityDoes the iLife V3s Pro have any way to control it remotely or on a schedule via an app?
There is no app and no Wi-Fi; control is the power button on the unit or the infrared remote. Scheduling does exist, on the remote: set the clock, set a start time, and the robot beeps to confirm and then runs at that time every day. Only one daily time can be stored, so the schedule cannot vary from one day of the week to the next.
OperationWhat is the difference between the V3s Pro and the original V3s?
Both share the same tangle-free direct-suction design with no brush roll, the same four cleaning modes and the same infrared remote. iLife publishes no specification table separating them, so there is no documented capability difference to weigh.
ComparisonCan the V3s Pro handle pet hair better than hard-floor dust?
Pet hair is the case the tangle-free inlet is built for: with no brush roll, hair passes into the bin rather than winding around a roller, so there is nothing to cut free afterward. Pickup still comes from airflow alone, so it does better with hair sitting on hard floors than with hair worked into carpet pile.
OwnershipHow long does the battery last, and can I buy a replacement battery?
Manufacturer documentation lists 90-120 minute runtime on hard floors. Replacement batteries are available through Amazon and iLife retailers for $30-40. Battery degradation becomes noticeable after 18-24 months of weekly operation.
