It carries no mopping hardware, so mopping is correctly outside its job, and on the vacuum job it self-services nothing: no dock automation of any kind and a bin emptied by hand. Owner reports describe effective coverage on 500 to 800 sq ft of open hard floor, which is a real discrete portion done reliably, and repeated passes over the same areas above roughly 800 sq ft. It is rated only to medium-pile carpet, so a carpeted level is partly outside the job it can finish.

TechGearLab's own run found that the 11S's "semi-random nature means that its sporadic home coverage will become even worse the larger the area it is tasked to clean", with completion a function of how long it runs rather than of any plan. Nothing is retained between runs.

Tom's Guide, testing it in a real home, found it went under a low-clearance couch and "got stuck on the second pass and had to be rescued", and twice a side brush wound itself into shag carpet "requiring us to 'unscrew' the whole vacuum from the rug section". It was found stalled and needed hands each time.

It needs a cleared, barriered, mostly hard-floor setting.

Eight and a half years since 2018 across an enormous install base with multi-year Amazon and Reddit documentation marked complete, no recall and no systemic defect on the line, which is one of the most mature records in this corpus. One recurring mode is documented and it is not job-stopping: brush tangling on carpet and in pet homes, cleared by hand. Capped at 65 because the outcome evidence is retail review text. NO credit is given for the machine having no cloud, no map and no dock to fail.

PCMag's review of the 11S recommends the Deebot N79S instead "for offering phone control and Amazon Alexa compatibility for just $10 more", and TestHut describes the whole control surface as an IR remote whose schedule can only be reset by pulling the remote's batteries. A machine with no network link has no update channel, which is the 33 anchor, not an absence of evidence.

Scored as commitments, and this is the machine's best input. Eight and a half years after launch it is still widely stocked through Amazon, eufy direct and general retail, filters run about $8, and the brush and side brush set is shared across an entire generation of eufy RoboVacs with third-party supply so deep it will outlast any vendor listing. The battery is replaceable, and Anker remains a large solvent manufacturer with a working support channel.

Nothing is automated, and every task is the owner's: a weekly brush check with hair removal in pet homes, a monthly bin empty and cliff-sensor clean, filter tapping and replacement at three to six months, wheel cleaning on tile transitions, and a remote battery every six to twelve months. The absolute time is low, but that is because the machine does less rather than because anything is handled for you, and no credit accrues for the mop and dock it does not have.

Filters at about $8 every three to six months plus brushes and side brushes comes to roughly $50 to $60 a year, a low absolute figure, on parts that are among the most widely stocked robot vacuum consumables anywhere. Low cost and bad ratio pull in opposite directions and land it at the midpoint.

CompatibilityDoes the eufy RoboVac 11S work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. The 11S uses only remote-control operation; no Wi-Fi, app, or account required. You start it from the remote, or from the daily schedule the remote sets, and the robot runs until it returns to dock.

OperationHow does it navigate if it has no mapping?

Mechanical bump sensors trigger direction changes. Owner reports describe effective coverage on 500-800 sqft open hard floors but repeated passes on larger spaces and cluttered homes.

OperationCan I schedule the 11S to clean while I am away?

Yes, from the bundled remote. Set the clock, press the Schedule button (clock icon), set the hour and minute with the arrow keys, confirm AM or PM, then press Schedule or Start to save. The robot runs at that time each day unattended. Holding the bell button for three seconds cancels it. The limits are that it is one recurring daily time with no day-of-week selection, and that with no Wi-Fi nothing can be started or changed from outside the house.

OperationDoes the RoboVac 11S work on carpet?

eufy rates it for hard floors through medium-pile carpet, and BoostIQ raises suction automatically in about 1.5 seconds when the robot detects it needs more power. Owner reports on carpet are mixed, describing reduced pickup and hair tangling in the brush on longer pile. High pile is outside what eufy rates it for.
