Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro

A hot-water mop wash and dry cycle usually reserved for pricier docks arrives at a $799.99 list price, but structured-light obstacle sensors miss thin objects like charging cables that camera-based flagships catch.

OWNERSHIP

Living with it.

Too new for a failure pattern; only a documented out-of-box defect exists.

One reviewer found an improperly seated dust-roller compartment blocking docking until manually adjusted; no broader failure pattern has been documented in the roughly seven weeks since launch, and independent long-term ownership data does not yet exist.

Safety notes

CautionHot water in dock during wash cycle: Mop wash water reaches roughly 149°F; avoid opening the dock mid-cycle.

NoteSmall items pulled into brush: Cables, cords, and small items on the floor can be drawn into the rotating brush.

NoteWarm-air mop drying vents: Dock vents warm air near 113°F during mop drying; keep clear of small children and pets.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

6 answered
OperationDoes the Qrevo 2 Pro's dock wash the mop pads with hot water?
Roborock’s product page and Vacuum Wars’ launch coverage both document the dock washing mop pads at roughly 149°F and drying them with about 113°F warm air after each cleaning run.
OperationWill the Qrevo 2 Pro get tangled on cables and cords on the floor?
A Gizmodo test that scattered cables across several floor types found the robot picked up nearly all of them; Roborock attributed the gap to the structured-light sensors lacking the camera hardware pricier models use to spot thin objects.
CompatibilityDoes the Qrevo 2 Pro need a 5GHz Wi-Fi network?
No. It connects only on 2.4GHz, so homes running a merged dual-band network may need to temporarily split bands to complete setup.
OperationDoes the mop lift automatically when the Qrevo 2 Pro crosses onto carpet?
It parks the pads in the dock rather than lifting them in place. A Tom’s Guide test found the robot began mopping a dining room rug before the boundary was manually drawn in the app.
OperationHow long does the Qrevo 2 Pro run before returning to the dock?
Roborock rates the runtime at 253 minutes per charge.
CompatibilityIs the Qrevo 2 Pro compatible with Apple HomeKit?
Only through Matter, and only for a limited command set: start, stop, mode changes, and sending it to the dock.

We may earn commission from qualifying purchases. This does not influence classification.

Some sellers strike through a “was” price of $999, above the $800 manufacturer list — a discount measured off that is not a real saving.
