OperationCan the S6 MaxV map multiple floors and remember layouts?
Yes. The S6 MaxV stores up to four saved maps and recognizes automatically which level it is on, so each floor is mapped once at setup and carrying the robot upstairs does not require a remap. Up to ten no-go zones, ten no-mop zones, and ten invisible barriers are retained per floor.
OwnershipWhat is the mop pad replacement cost and frequency?
Mop pads are low-cost consumables (~$15-25 for packs of three). Owner reports suggest weekly rinsing and replacement every 2-4 weeks in heavy-use homes.

The original S7 carries no obstacle recognition. The next Roborock model to carry obstacle recognition was the S7 MaxV, whose ReactiveAI 2.0 adds 3D structured light and a dedicated processor.
