OperationDoes the M700 have selectable filtration modes?

No. Maytronics describes a single patented Multi-Layer cartridge that filters fine and ultra-fine debris at the same time. The robot ships with a standard filter kit and an ultra-fine kit; changing between them is a physical swap of the filter media, and there is no mode setting in the app.

OperationHow is the M700 powered, and how long is the cable?

From a digital switch-mode power supply that sits outside the pool: 100 to 250 VAC in at 180 W, under 30 VDC out to the robot, rated IP54. The cable is 18 m and floating, running through an anti-tangling swivel. There is no battery.

OwnershipWhat does the filter cost to run?

Nothing on a schedule. The Dolphin cartridge is reusable: lift the robot out, open the top, empty the cartridge and rinse it with a hose. Both the standard and the ultra-fine filter kits are supplied with the machine, so there is no separate purchase to run either one.
