He adds it does occasionally leave a few small patches at awkward spots, so the run completes end to end with self-recharging but a hand finishes the odd corner.

OperationWhat is the RTK base station and why does the Lymow One need it?

RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) uses a fixed ground station to correct the satellite signal the mower receives, taking positioning from the meter-level accuracy of plain GNSS down to centimeter level. Lymow ships the base station, its antenna, a ground stake, a mounting pole and wall mount kit and a 10 m power supply with the mower, so RTK is the standard configuration rather than an upgrade.

OperationCan I use the Lymow One without an RTK base station?

Lymow does not sell the mower in that configuration. The base station and its mounting and power hardware are in the box, and the machine is set up to work with them. The question a buyer actually faces is where to site the station so it has clear sky view, not whether to add one.

OperationHow does the mulching blade differ from traditional discharge or bagging?

Mulching blade recycles grass into fine particles that fall back into the turf, returning nutrients to soil. No grass bag required; no clipping discharge windows needed. Eliminates bagging workflow but removes option to bag grass for disease or debris control.

ComparisonDoes the tracked suspension perform better on slopes than wheeled mowers?

Yes. Lymow rates the One to a 45 degree maximum slope, which it states as a 100% incline, and the tracked drive is what that rating rests on: a tread spreads load over a longer contact patch than a wheel, which also helps on soft ground such as wet soil or sand. Slopes above the rated maximum sit outside the specification whatever the surface.

Maximum runtime is 3 hours. Lymow states coverage of about 0.57 acres (2,300 sq m) on a charge, and a daily ceiling of 1.73 acres across three charge cycles using the 10 A fast charger. Grass density and slope move those figures down rather than up. Multi-pass sequencing across charges is handled by the mower itself.
