Questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
OperationWhat does the 405VE NERA replace?
Husqvarna’s 16 Oct 2025 announcement says the 405VE NERA replaces the Automower 405XE NERA.
CompatibilityDoes the 405VE NERA need Wi-Fi across the lawn?
No. Husqvarna says cellular or Wi-Fi coverage is needed for Husqvarna Cloud correction, and the 405VE has cellular built in; an RS1 reference station covers areas with neither.

Husqvarna says the infrared camera works in the dark and is designed to detect and avoid nocturnal animals during night mowing.
OperationAre camera images stored?
Husqvarna says images are processed inside the mower and never stored or shared, and data leaving the mower is stored in Europe.
OwnershipHow much did the 405VE NERA cost at launch?
One report put the price at £2,299 at announcement, another at a 2,699 euro list price in Germany, and Husqvarna UK now lists £2,349.
