Ecovacs Deebot T50S Pro Omni

Vacuum-mop refresh with proven dock automation and current-generation edge mopping. Performance and reliability still consolidating; the T50S is a refinement, not a category breakthrough.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
Operation
Does the Deebot T50S Pro Omni self-empty dust?
No. The Omni dock washes and dries mop pads but does not auto-empty the vacuum’s dust tank. Manual emptying required after 2-3 floor runs on typical carpeted/hard-mix homes.
Operation
What happens if I move the robot between homes?
Mapping clears and rebuilds on relocation. Saved room layouts remain in the app, but the robot re-maps the new space on first run, extending the first job.
Operation
Can I use the Deebot T50S without the Omni dock?
The T50S ships with the Omni dock; standalone operation with a charging-only base is not offered as a configuration option.
Ownership
How often does the dock filter need cleaning?
Monthly on standard 2-3 run-per-week schedules. Daily use or pet-hair shedding may require bi-weekly checks and cleaning.
Operation
Is the T50S an upgrade over the T50 Pro Omni?
The T50S adds 25000Pa suction (vs. 22000Pa) and TruEdge 2.0 mopping. Core navigation and dock design remain similar. Dock automation and mop coverage are the headline changes.
