Yes. The robot’s Wi-Fi radio operates on 2.4 GHz only and will not pair with 5 GHz-exclusive networks. Dual-band routers (2.4 + 5 GHz) work fine. Single-band 5 GHz networks will prevent setup.
OperationHow often do the FocusJet nozzles need cleaning?
Yeedi publishes no cleaning interval for them. A weekly visual check and clearing of any blockage is a sensible precaution, and in hard-water areas mineral buildup at the nozzle orifice is the thing to watch for. No field data on real-world cadence yet.
OperationCan the S20 Infinity Ultra handle high-pile carpet?
Design and LiDAR optimization target hard floors and low-pile carpet. Owner reports from related Yeedi flagships document suction loss on shag and high-pile. Mop function requires low-pile floors for effectiveness.
OwnershipWhat is the annual cost for dock consumables?
Self-empty dust bags are the main line item, roughly $40 to $60 a year. There are no mop pads to replace: this machine mops with the OZMO Roller 3.0, which self-washes as it runs and is washed with warm water and dried at 145°F by the station between runs, so the roller is a wear part rather than a scheduled consumable. Filters and brushes are the remaining wear items, and Yeedi does not publish replacement prices for them, so a complete annual figure is not established here.
CompatibilityDoes the S20 Infinity Ultra work with Amazon Alexa or Google Home?
Yes. The robot integrates with Alexa and Google Home for voice commands and scene triggering. Pairing happens in the ECOVACS HOME app first, and scheduling, mapping, and cleaning modes remain accessible there independently.
OperationWhat does FocusJet actually do?
It is a pre-spray, not a separate cleaning mode. Yeedi describes dual high-pressure atomizing nozzles that lay a fine mist of cleaning solution onto a stain to dissolve it just ahead of the mop roller, within the same pass. There is no stain-only cycle to schedule and no preset stain zones to configure. Manufacturer claim; independent validation pending.
