The W168 is the square-body iGLASSBOT brought up to dual water spraying, which is the change that matters: the W120 generation needed the cloth pre-wetting by hand. The safety story is the other half of it, a 500 mAh UPS rated to 30 minutes of suction after a power cut, plus an alarm and a rope. What it still cannot do is move itself between panes, which is the ceiling on every window robot in this class.

Third-party owner reporting on the W168 is thin since its late-2024 release; the corded, rope-tethered design leaves little unattended failure surface.

Wash both microfiber cleaning cloths and let them dry fully; six cloths ship in the box, so a dry set is always ready.

Empty the 80 ml water tank, wipe the body down with a soft dry towel, and check the safety rope and extension cable for wear.

Recharge the backup battery during storage; Mamibot specifies a full charge (about 2.5 hours) at least every 3 months to prevent deep-discharge.

Swap in a dry cloth mid-job if the robot slips or streaks; replace worn-out cloths, which Mamibot classes as wear items with no published replacement interval.

Clear the two spray nozzles with the supplied cotton swabs when spraying stops on a full tank; a nozzle that will not clear needs replacing.

Re-seat the two cleaning rings and cloths if the alarm signals an air leak; the teeth on the body must sit in the ring slots.

Tighten the rotating-plate screws if movement turns rough or uneven.
