Husqvarna Automower 308V

Wire-free mowing for mid-size gardens with satellite positioning and an AI camera, from a maker T3 credits with unrivalled build quality. The catch is Wi-Fi: it needs a strong signal across the whole lawn, or a £299 reference station that only a dealer can install.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
CompatibilityDoes the Automower 308V need Wi-Fi across the garden?
Yes. Husqvarna says positioning data arrives over Wi-Fi via Husqvarna Cloud; T3 notes the RS1 reference station alternative costs about £299 and needs dealer installation.
OperationDoes the 308V avoid obstacles at night?
No. Husqvarna says the 300 series vision works only in daylight, so object avoidance and EPOS support do not work when dark.
OperationHow long does the 308V mow on a charge?
Husqvarna lists 100 minutes of mowing and a 100-minute charge, which T3 also reports.
CompatibilityCan the cutting height be changed from the app?
No. Husqvarna lists manual height adjustment from 20 to 50 mm, and T3 lists the lack of automatic height adjustment as a drawback.
OperationWhere is the 308V sold in the UK?
T3 lists Husqvarna direct and garden machinery specialists Sam Turner & Sons and Mow With Us, at around £1,249.
