Eureka J15 Max Ultra

The extending brush and mop address a real class problem: the dust and film that fixed side brushes and round mop pads leave in corners, along baseboards and around table legs. The robot detects those geometries and extends into them on its own, with ScrubExtend holding 7 N of downward force while the mop is out. It reads shape rather than soil, so what it reaches is a function of the layout, not of how dirty a given spot is.

OwnershipDoes the J15 Max Ultra's SweepExtend arm replace a traditional side brush?
No. SweepExtend is the side brush on an extending arm: when the robot detects a corner, an edge or a table leg, it pushes the brush out to reach it, then retracts. ScrubExtend does the same for the mop, holding 7 N of downward force while extended.
OperationCan the hot-water mop dock run unattended overnight?
Yes. The dock washes the mop with 80 C (176 F) heated water and then dries it with 55 C (131 F) heated air, and the base tray self-cleans. There is no cold-water soak stage for a damp pad to sit in.
OperationWhat is the J15 Max Ultra's battery runtime on a single charge?
Eureka publishes up to 360 minutes, six hours, on a charge. Actual runtime falls with higher suction settings and with mopping.
OperationDoes the J15 Max Ultra handle multi-floor homes without remapping?
LiDAR mapping is per-floor. Moving the dock to the second floor requires a fresh map, approximately 15-20 minutes. Two-story homes with one dock location require manual floor handling or a second dock.
OwnershipIs the SweepExtend arm covered under warranty if it fails?
Standard Eureka warranty coverage is assumed but not confirmed. Motorized moving parts may fall under accelerated-wear clauses. Confirm arm-specific repair costs with Eureka before purchase.
