CautionOperator control requires low-latency link: Network lag above 200 ms increases collision risk during manual operation. Deployments use private 5GHz networks or enterprise LTE fallback.

CautionHigh-speed leg motion (6 m/s): Personnel must maintain 2 m exclusion zone during autonomous runs. Sudden operator takeover can cause abrupt direction change.

CompatibilityDoes the Unitree B2 require wireless network coverage to operate?
Teleoperated control depends on a low-latency link, but Unitree publishes no network specification or recommendation for the B2. The interfaces Unitree does document on the compute module are 4x gigabit Ethernet and 4x USB 3.0.
OperationWhat terrain can the B2 climb, and how does mud or wet grass affect traction?
Unitree publishes a 40 cm forward stair climb, with 20 to 25 cm the working figure for continuous stair sequences, and a slope rating greater than 45 degrees. Surface conditions still govern the result, and Unitree publishes no traction figures for mud, wet grass, or ice.
OperationHow long does the battery last under full 40 kg payload?
Unitree publishes both loaded and unloaded endurance. Unladen, continuous walking runs over 5 hours for more than 20 km of range; carrying a load, over 4 hours for more than 15 km. The pack is 45 Ah / 2250 Wh at 58 V, with a stated 4 to 6 hour battery life. Terrain and gait profile move the result within that band.
OperationCan the B2 operate unsupervised indoors, or does it require constant operator control?
Supervised operation with operator fallback is mandatory. The platform demonstrates autonomous navigation only in pre-trained routes; complex environments require teleoperated intervention.
