Vacuum Wars' three-month household test found the default simultaneous vac-and-mop left floors that 'felt gritty underfoot and just weren't clean' where fine clay was tracked in, and that only after the owner switched the app to 'vac followed by mop' did floors become 'dramatically cleaner,' a human closing the loop by reconfiguring. TechGearLab reports 'a self-sufficient experience that makes daily maintenance nearly effortless' but that they 'had to cut out pet hair from the brush roller' and that 'some deeper-embedded sand was left behind.'
