OperationHow often must the T10's water tanks be emptied and refilled?
Owner reports show tank emptying every 2-4 cleaning sessions in typical homes, roughly every 3-5 days with daily scheduled runs. Water capacity is the limiting factor, not dock cleaning cycles.
OperationCan the T10 be used with tap water, or must I use filtered water?
Clean tap water. Narwal’s T10 guidance is that clean water is sufficient for mopping, and its warning concerns what else goes in: other cleaning products can foam or leave residue that corrodes the piping system, which covers vinegar and descalers as well as detergents. Narwal publishes no filtration or water-hardness requirement for this model.
OperationDoes the T10's dock require professional installation or external plumbing?
No external plumbing is required. The dock is self-contained with manual water filling via upper tank and dirty-water drainage via lower tank. Placement near a sink simplifies refilling.
OperationHow does the T10 switch between mopping and vacuuming?
The owner switches it by swapping hardware. The vacuum module with its side brushes detaches and a pair of mop pads mounts in its place, and the robot recognizes which module is fitted, which is why the job is set per session rather than per room. There is no automatic carpet avoidance in mopping mode. Carpets are kept dry with the magnetic boundary strips included in the box, or by drawing no-mop areas on the separate mop map in the app, and in a mixed-floor home one of those has to be in place before the first mop run.

Owner reports document pad wear after 2-4 months of daily use. Replacement pads cost roughly $15-30 per pair. The dock’s washing and drying cycle extends lifespan compared to hand-washed alternatives.
