Common questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
OperationDoes the Lefant M1 have a self-emptying dock?
No. The M1 ships as a standalone unit with no base station. The dustbin requires manual emptying after every few runs.
OperationCan the M1 save maps for multiple floors?
Yes. Manufacturer documentation confirms multi-floor map storage via the companion app. Each floor is mapped separately with its own scheduled rooms and no-go zones.
CompatibilityDoes the Lefant M1 work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No. The M1 requires a 2.4 GHz network for initial pairing. Homes with band-steering or 5 GHz-only routers need a dedicated 2.4 GHz SSID created before setup.
OperationDoes the M1 mop as well as vacuum?
Yes, with caveats. The M1 includes an onboard water tank and flat dragged pad for light maintenance mopping on sealed hard floors. There is no oscillation, pressure control, or self-wash cycle.
CompatibilityDoes the Lefant M1 work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. Manufacturer specs list both Alexa and Google Home voice control. Start, stop, and return-to-dock commands are confirmed; room-specific voice commands depend on configured app maps.
