The X11 mops with the OZMO ROLLER 2.0, a 175 mm nylon roller turning at 200 rpm and rinsed against a scraper throughout the run, rather than dragging a pad. The station washes the roller at 167 F and hot-air dries it between runs. Ecovacs rates the system at 400 m2 of mopping. That covers routine maintenance mopping on tile and hardwood; it does not replace hand cleaning of set stains or textured stone.
OperationHow does the OmniCyclone station handle dust without a bag?
It separates debris cyclonically into a reusable bin rather than into a disposable bag. The bin is emptied by hand and the filter is washed. Ecovacs markets the bagless design as saving up to $100 a year against stations that use bags. The trade-off is that emptying a bin briefly exposes the user to the collected dust, which a sealed bag does not.
OperationCan you operate the X11 without the Omni dock?
Yes. Standard dustbin included. Mopping mode disables without dock, and some app features (scheduling, deep-clean cycles) work degraded. Most owners treat the dock as required for convenience; standalone operation possible but less practical.

Not established. The X11 OmniCyclone was released in September 2025, so no owner population has run it long enough to observe capacity loss. Ecovacs publishes a 6,400 mAh cell with up to 207 minutes of runtime in standard mode and a 3 hour 10 minute charge. Lithium packs in this class shorten noticeably over a few years of daily use, but no figure specific to this machine exists yet.
OperationIs X11 considered a Level III autonomous robot?
Yes. It operates independently within mapped environments with reliable obstacle avoidance and room separation. Novel obstacles, reflective surfaces, or layout changes require manual intervention or app adjustment, capping autonomy at Conditional (Level III) per Robovations methodology.
CompatibilityDoes it work with Matter or Apple HomeKit?
No. Alexa and Google Home only. Ecovacs published no Matter roadmap as of June 2026. HomeKit integration is unavailable; users seeking Apple ecosystem integration should evaluate iRobot J-series alternatives.
OperationWhat is the water-tank capacity for mopping?
Ecovacs publishes 110 mL of clean water and 95 mL of dirty water on the robot, with 3.2 L clean and 2.7 L dirty in the station. The robot’s tanks are small by design: it returns to the station to refill and dump mid-run, so the station tanks are what set the practical mopping range. Ecovacs rates the system at 400 m2 of mopping.
