OperationHow does LogiCut differ from random-pattern mowing?
LogiCut maps the area inside the boundary wire and then mows it in parallel lanes, opening each session with a BorderCut pass along the perimeter. Random-pattern mowers cover ground by bouncing off the wire until the area is statistically covered. The practical differences are a visible lane finish and less time to cover the same lawn.
OperationWhat happens if the boundary wire is cut?
The mower stops and reports a wire fault rather than mowing on. It will not run again until the loop is spliced and the signal runs around the full perimeter. Breaks usually come from an aerator, an edging spade or a garden fork rather than from the mower itself.
OperationDoes the Indego M+ 700 work without professional installation?
Yes. The mower is owner-installed. The boundary wire is pegged around the lawn and around any fixed obstacles, the dock is placed on the loop, and LogiCut then takes three full cuts to learn the area. There is no reference station, no site survey and no authorized-installer requirement.
OwnershipWhat happens to monthly operating cost with blade wear?
The three pivoting blades are the only regular consumable. They are replaced as a set every four to eight weeks in the mowing season and sell in multi-packs at roughly $12 to $20 for a set of three. They are replaced rather than sharpened. No subscription or connectivity fee applies.
CompatibilityCan the mowing area be changed from the app?
No. The mowed area is the area inside the boundary wire, so changing its shape means moving wire. The app handles scheduling and up to three mowing zones within the existing loop; it cannot redraw the perimeter.
ComparisonHow is the Indego M+ 700 quieter or louder than wire-guided mowers?
