MOVA

MOVA E50 Ultra

The lower-priced E50 model, sharing the E50 Pro Ultra's robot but rinsing pads with unheated water and leaving detergent to the owner. Two independent tests found easy setup, reliable everyday mopping and good edge reach, but it stalled at door thresholds, pulled in thin cables and was confused by slatted floors.

The record so far

One reviewer used it for several weeks and another in a multi-story house; neither reported a fault, but thresholds, thin cables and slatted floors caused stops. No long-term owner record exists yet.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

5 answered
OperationWhat is the difference between the MOVA E50 Ultra and the E50 Pro Ultra?
The robot is the same. The E50 Pro Ultra’s dock washes pads at 212°F and doses detergent; the E50 Ultra’s dock rinses with unheated water, per mac4ever.
OperationCan the MOVA E50 Ultra climb door thresholds?
Not high ones. A hands-on review needed ramps for roughly 3 cm thresholds, and the robot sometimes got stuck trying the sill beside a ramp.
OperationDoes the E50 Ultra add detergent automatically?
No. A hands-on review notes cleaning solution is poured by hand into the clean water tank.
OperationHow tall is the MOVA E50 Ultra?
MOVA lists the robot at 350 x 350 x 97 mm and the dock at 340 x 480 x 496.5 mm.
OperationDoes it work on slatted wooden floors?
Poorly. In a hands-on review, the cliff sensors reacted constantly on an open-slatted floor, and virtual walls or rugs were needed.
