OperationDoes the HOBOT-S6 Pro work on curved or beveled windows?
Curved panes are not recommended; the dual mops assume a flat surface, and beveled edges cause uneven pad contact. Flat glass is the documented design domain. Frameless glass is a different case: HOBOT’s ELB (Edge-Leakage-Bumper) sensing detects air leakage at seals and frameless edges as well as physical contact with a frame, so a frameless pane sits inside its detection scheme in a way a curved one does not.
OperationHow does the suction-adhesion work in outdoor weather, and is it affected by rain or wind?
Suction seals against the glass with the vacuum motor. HOBOT publishes no rain tolerance and no wind threshold for the S6 Pro, so neither should be read as tested. Its general guidance across the window range runs the other way: work on low-humidity days, wipe dust off the glass dry first, then clean wet. Treat rain and gusty conditions as outside the documented envelope rather than as conditions the machine is rated for.
OperationCan the S6 Pro clean both exterior and interior glass in the same session?
Yes, by moving the robot from one side to the other by hand and re-rigging the safety rope. The app carries a setting for which side of the glass the robot is on, so directional commands stay correct after the move. Re-anchor the rope to a fixed object indoors each time rather than leaving it clipped to whatever suited the previous pane.
OperationWhat is the noise level, and is it a concern for residential use?
HOBOT does not publish a noise figure for the S6 Pro. Retail listings give 64 dB, which is in the range of a household vacuum and audible through a closed window. No manufacturer measurement is available to confirm it.

Manufacturer guidance suggests quarterly replacement (~$20–$35 per pair). Pads clog with mineral deposits on hard-water windows; cleaning with vinegar extends lifespan.
OperationIs the S6 Pro's safety rope strong enough for high-rise use?
HOBOT states the 4.5 meter safety rope can bear up to 230 Kgf of pulling force, roughly 507 lbf, against a robot of about 1.65 kg. The rope is not the weak link; the anchor is. HOBOT’s instruction is to tie the rope to a fixed object indoors before operating, every time. A gutter, a roof bracket or any fitting above the window is not a fall-arrest anchor and HOBOT names none. HOBOT publishes no story limit for the S6 Pro, so any figure of that kind is not the manufacturer’s.
