OperationWhat is the battery runtime on a full charge during an active inspection mission?
ANYbotics publishes 90 minutes of runtime and about 2 km of walking per charge, with a 3-hour recharge. Sensor payloads draw from the same battery, so an instrumented mission runs shorter than a walking-only one, though no per-payload figures are published. Terrain and mission planning affect it as well.
OperationDoes the ANYmal require a dedicated safety operator on-site during autonomous runs?
ANYbotics sells ANYmal for autonomous missions supervised from a remote inspection console rather than driven by continuous manual control. Whether a person must also be present on site is a site and jurisdiction question, particularly in ATEX-classified areas, and no universal answer is published.
OperationCan the ANYmal X navigate stairs autonomously without pre-training on each staircase?
Yes. Autonomous industrial stair climbing is a production capability rather than a lab demonstration: ANYbotics rates a 250 mm maximum step height and states that ANYmal climbs and descends industrial stairs safely, open grated treads included, with ANYmal X sold specifically for complex multi-floor facilities. The facility is mapped once during mission setup; no per-stairwell training procedure or stairwell-specific calibration is published.
OperationWhat is the leasing arrangement and typical contract length?
ANYbotics publishes no price list and no standard contract length for ANYmal. Terms are negotiated per site alongside support, training, and software updates. No consumer pricing exists.
