You do not. The station holds three mop modules and the robot picks up and drops off whichever one suits the floor it is working on, mid-run, without the owner involved. The station washes the pads at 212F and hot-air dries them between uses. Dreame publishes no owner swap schedule for this machine, because swapping is not an owner task on it.

Manufacturer specs indicate Level III operation on learned floor plans. LiDAR maps each level once; multi-floor homes require zone setup in the app. No autonomous floor-level discovery documented.

Dreame does not publish a rated input power for the ThermoHub station. It heats wash water to 212F across 20 nozzles and hot-air dries the pads, which is a resistive heating load rather than a trickle draw, so it is not the same electrical footprint as a charge-only dock.
