LiDAR-based SLAM + gyroscope

Living with it.
Two firmware updates stabilized navigation; app deprecation makes long-term ownership untenable.
2016-2017 firmware iterations addressed obstacle detection and mapping drift. After 2017, firmware stagnated while OS updates broke app compatibility. Owner forums report increasing mapping failures after 2020.
$399 to buy, then about $25 a year for the replaceable parts below. Over three years that is roughly $75 past the sticker price. Excludes electricity and any repairs.
