Yarbo M20i

A four-module Core built for 0.25-1.5 acre yards, with 360-degree LiDAR setting the M20i apart from its M10 and M20 siblings. Still Kickstarter-only, and the snow module was redesigned after funding closed.

Common questions

What people actually ask.

6 answered
OperationDoes the Yarbo M20i need a buried boundary wire?
No. Like the rest of the M series, it maps the yard through an app-guided walk using NetRTK positioning and AI vision cameras, with 360-degree LiDAR added on the M20i.
OperationWhat's different between the M20i and the M20?
The M20i adds 360-degree LiDAR for navigation in shaded or obstacle-heavy yards and supports night operation; the M20 and M10 rely on NetRTK and cameras alone.
OperationWhy did the snow module change after the Kickstarter funded?
Yarbo swapped the original plow blade for a two-stage snow blower in July 2026 at no extra cost, saying the heavier module needed new mounting, power-draw and balance validation on the Core.
OperationCan I buy the M20i without backing the Kickstarter?
Not yet. As of Yarbo’s most recent public appearance, IFA 2026 in early September, the M20i had not been listed for ordinary retail purchase.
CompatibilityIs the Yarbo app's cloud connection secure?
A June 2026 US government cybersecurity advisory (CVE-2026-10557, CVSS 9.8) found hard-coded credentials in the Yarbo app that could expose fleet-wide telemetry and commands; Yarbo patched it server-side and in app version 3.17.4.
OperationDoes the M20i mower run at the same time as the trimmer module?
The mower and trimmer are separate modules on one Core, and Yarbo has not published whether a mowing run can trigger a trimmer pass without a physical module swap.
