Clone’s Myofiber actuators are water-driven artificial muscles that contract along the length of a synthetic skeleton rather than rotating a joint through a geared motor, which is what produces the organic motion its demonstrations show. Durability across sustained operating cycles is the real test and no unit has been delivered, so no wear record exists.

Official timeline is unconfirmed. Preorders are open for a 279-unit run, but Clone Robotics has published neither a price nor a delivery window. This is the material open question.
