iRobot Braava Jet m6

No pad auto-swap or solution auto-refill. The operator seats a pad and fills the tank by hand before each run; the dock charges the robot and does nothing else.

Imprint Link needs a compatible Roomba. Mapping and room-by-room scheduling are the m6’s own and work unpaired; what pairing adds is sequencing, so the mop starts when the vacuum finishes.

Narwal Freo Z10 Turbo

The station does the mop work: it refills the robot’s water tank automatically, washes the mops in 113 to 167F water, dries them with 104F air and dispenses detergent on its own. What remains for the owner is the station’s own clean and dirty water tanks.

Released May 2026 means firmware is young; reliability and edge-case handling remain unproven compared to Narwal’s established Z-series models.

Homes that are mostly carpet
The m6 mops hard floors only and has no pad-lift mechanism. Carpet detection keeps it off the carpet rather than wetting it, but a largely carpeted home leaves it with little floor to clean.
Homes wanting one robot to vacuum and mop
The m6 mops only. Something still has to vacuum first, by hand or with a separate robot, and Imprint Link automates that handoff only if the vacuum is a compatible Roomba.
Owners wanting hands-off water management

Disconnected or unreliable Wi-Fi environments
App control and scheduling depend on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. Homes with spotty coverage or 5 GHz-only networks will encounter functionality limits.
Very large homes where a per-charge runtime figure matters
Narwal publishes no runtime per charge for the Z10 Turbo. Homes that need to size a single unbroken run against square footage have no manufacturer figure to work from.
Buyers needing proprietary consumables at local retailers
Dock bags and mop-pad availability depend on manufacturer supply chains. Limited retail presence outside direct Narwal channels for quick replacement sourcing.

  • After every use: Remove the pad by hand. Rinse and machine wash reusable pads and let them dry; discard single-use pads.
  • Weekly: Empty any solution left standing in the tank and refill before the next run. Plain water is a supported fill.
  • Monthly: Needle-clean the jet nozzle if the spray pattern is uneven; wipe the charging contacts and the dock tray.
  • Every few months: Replace reusable pads once they stop holding water evenly, and check the tank and nozzle for mineral buildup if you fill with hard tap water.
Narwal Freo Z10 Turbo
  • Weekly: Top up the station’s clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank.
  • Monthly: Inspect the station wash nozzles for dust or hair blockage.
  • Every 120 days: Replace the sealed station dust bag at its rated debris capacity.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace main brush and side brush according to Narwal’s consumables guide.
  • Seasonally: Deep-clean the station water pathways with clean water and inspect the seal before extended storage.
  • As needed: Inspect the Dual Reuleaux Triangular mops for wear. The station washes them in 113 to 167F water and dries them at 104F after every session, so routine hand rinsing is not a required task.
