Platform
The Combo j5+ (model J6198) is built on the Roomba j5 vacuum chassis. Navigation uses vSLAM via a camera array with iAdapt 3.0 multi-room mapping. Suction is rated at 1,700 Pa. Battery capacity is 92 Wh with a 120-minute runtime and approximately 180-minute charge time.
Bin System
The unit ships with two bins: a standard vacuum/self-emptying bin compatible with the Clean Base dock, and a mopping bin containing a water reservoir and pad mount. The dock auto-empty function operates only when the vacuum bin is installed. Switching to the mopping bin disables auto-empty and requires a manual water fill. Mop pads are reusable and washable.
Dock
The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal dock auto-empties dirt into an enclosed bag. Dock operates normally with the vacuum bin; it does not dispense or recover water.
