The trade-off
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
Compact body trades coverage per run: the 248mm frame reaches under furniture full-size units cannot, and covers less floor per cycle in open layouts over 1,500 sqft.
Mopping is present but minimal: a disposable cloth fixes to the underside with no water spray and no carpet detection, so the pad has to be taken off by hand before the robot crosses onto carpet.
Dust is automated for 45 days; water is automated for zero.
Because the pad never lifts, carpet protection depends on carpet detection and no-mop zones working every run, and no independent test has checked either yet.
Who each one is wrong for
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
- Large open homes needing single-pass full-floor coverage
- 248mm wheelbase limits one-cycle coverage. Homes over 1,500 sqft in open layouts require multiple runs or full-size unit.
- Homes wanting unattended mopping across mixed floors
- The mop is a disposable cloth with no water spray and no carpet detection. Attaching it commits the run to hard floors, and the cloth has to be fitted and removed by hand each time.
- Owners unwilling to tolerate frequent dock repositioning
- Limited reach and size constraints mean the dock must be placed centrally to maximize coverage per cycle.

- Yeedi has published no battery capacity, runtime or charge time for this model, so single-charge coverage of a large home is unknown.
What stays your job
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
- Weekly: Clear hair from the main brush, side brush and wheels.
- Each mop run: Fit a cloth before the run and discard it after; the pads are single-use and there is no washing step.
- Monthly: Main filter rinse and side brush check; dock connector wipe.
- Roughly every 70 days: Replace the dock dust bag. The robot discharges its onboard bin into the station automatically and SwitchBot’s listing rates the 4L station at up to 70 days between bag changes, so emptying is not a weekly task.
- Every 3-6 months: Main brush or side brush replacement (~$15-25 per set).
- Annually: Filter replacement if original filter integrity declines (~$20-30).
- As needed: Empty the dock’s bagless 1.5 L bin, rated to hold up to 45 days of debris; no dust bags to buy.
- After every use: Remove and hand-wash the flat OZMO mop pad after mopping runs, since the dock neither washes nor dries it.
