The small body that reaches tight panes also carries a 50 ml tank that needs refilling every few windows.

Corded power means unlimited runtime; the cable is also what tangles mid-clean, per one owner’s log.

HUTT A1

Auto-pathing is limited to edge detection, not full-window mapping. Oversized or irregular panes may require multiple manual passes.

Corded operation eliminates battery anxiety but adds tether management and anchoring burden on higher stories.

Windows with no solid indoor anchor for the safety rope
The safety rope is the fall protection, and it has to be secured to a fixture indoors or to something solid that cannot be dragged toward the opening. Where no such anchor exists within reach of the pane, the machine should not be run on an exterior surface.
Panes with no mains outlet within reach
The A1 runs on mains power through a cord; the internal battery is fall protection, not a runtime source. HUTT does not publish the cord length, so an outlet within reach of each pane is a setup requirement to confirm before purchase.
Operators unwilling to inspect safety equipment before every run
Rope condition and motor dust accumulation require checking. Maintenance is routine but non-optional for safe operation, and the rope check comes before the machine goes on the glass, not weekly.

  • As needed: Refill the 50 ml water tank, roughly every three to four small windows in Deep mode per one owner.
  • After every use: Check the 3.3 m safety rope and power cable for wear or kinks.
  • Monthly: Clean the suction channel and the four spray nozzles.
  • As needed: Replace worn pads and restock cleaning solution.

  • Before every run: Inspect the safety rope for cuts, fraying or a damaged weave, and confirm the anchor is a fixture indoors or something solid that cannot be dragged toward the opening. Do not run the machine on exterior glass with a damaged rope.
  • Monthly: Wash or replace the nanofiber cloth; inspect the suction intake for debris.
  • Monthly: Clear spray nozzles of mineral buildup (cold-water systems).
  • Every 3-6 months: Deep-clean motor housing and sensor lenses, including the laser edge sensor.
  • On condition: Replace the safety rope when the weave is cut or the fibers are visibly worn. HUTT publishes no replacement interval, so this is an inspection call rather than a calendar one.
