Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete

A full omni station takes emptying, mop washing, drying and refilling out of the routine, but it adds a dust bag every 75 to 100 days plus mop pads and brushes to the running cost, and it needs a permanent floor position beside an outlet.

Peak suction modes draw more power than standard, so Dreame’s 180 minute rating from the 6,400 mAh battery is a standard-mode figure and shortens on the highest settings.

Roborock Saros 20 Sonic

The pad is washed, not swapped. The station rinses it in hot water and dries it between runs, which removes the consumable habit but adds a station to refill, empty and descale.

Vibration effectiveness drops on unswept floors. The system assumes carpet is vacuumed first; running mopping alone on dust and debris leaves residue. Multi-floor homes benefit; single-floor vacuuming skippers may see reduced impact.

Roborock lists the Saros 20 Sonic at $1,699.99. The premium buys the sonic mopping and the washing station; the standard Saros 20 shares the same navigation platform, so the gap is substantial if mopping is secondary to vacuuming.

  • Every 75 to 100 days: Swap the station dust bag. Dreame sells them in multipacks at single-digit dollars each.
  • Every 3-6 months: Deep-clean the mop module and inspect the station water seals for mineral deposits.
  • Annually: Replace the side brush; service the station connectors and inlet filters.
  • As needed: Refill the station’s clean-water tank with tap water and empty the dirty-water tank.
