Dreame

Up to three
All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Dreame L60 Ultra | V70 Ultra Complete |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable but exceeds typical compact-home needs. Smaller Dreame models deliver equivalent coverage at lower price. | GoodA 6,400 mAh battery with recharge-and-resume covers a compact home comfortably. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | Good180-minute runtime covers most homes; dual-pass on 2,500 sqft achievable in one dock cycle. | GoodMOVA lists a Smart Resume function that recharges and continues where a run stopped. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsRuntime caps at 180 minutes; homes >3,000 sqft will require dock return and resume. Suction sustained across runs per manufacturer specs. | DependsNo runtime or coverage figure is published, so large homes may need several recharge cycles. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | Good35,000Pa suction and hot-mop wash target sealed hard floors. Best-fit configuration for this category. | GoodPads spin at 300 rpm under 15 N, and Gear Diary saw them scrub dried spots rather than smear. |
| Low / medium pile | Good35,000Pa handles low-pile (Berber, shallow loop) effectively. Hot-mop wash ideal for low-pile in mixed homes. | GoodPads lift 10.5 mm on carpet or stay in the dock for vacuum-only runs, per Gear Diary. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document suction loss on shag and high-pile carpets. Mop lift (10.5mm) insufficient for pile engagement. | DependsA 10.5 mm lift may not clear dense pile; leave the pads in the dock for those rooms. |
| Mopping needs | ||
| Vacuum only | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. |
| Light mopping | GoodActive mopping system covers routine floors easily. | GoodActive mopping system covers routine floors easily. |
| Frequent mopping | GoodPressure or rotating mop with self-wash is built for frequent mopping. | GoodPressure or rotating mop with self-wash is built for frequent mopping. |
| You want to… | ||
| Empty bin myself | GoodSelf-empty dock handles dust-bag emptying (60-day intervals), but manual mop rinsing, water-tank refill, and dock cleaning required monthly. | GoodHands-on upkeep is light; the dock empties, washes and dries on its own. |
| Empty occasionally | GoodAutomatic dust-bag emptying and hot-mop wash reduce hands-on frequency. Monthly filter wash and pad inspection still needed. | GoodOwner tasks come down to water tanks every few mops and washing the reusable dust container. |
| Set-and-forget | DependsHot-water auto-mop wash is a step toward hands-off, but manual dock water-drain checks and monthly filter maintenance required. | DependsThe 4 L and 3.5 L water tanks still need refilling and emptying by hand. |
A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Runtime, Charge time, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
Hot-water pad washing is a genuine reduction in mop maintenance, but the station is large and runs on tanks: it needs dedicated floor space against a wall, and the clean and waste tanks are filled and emptied by hand. Dreame publishes no installation footprint.
Carpet is handled by lifting, not by staying away: the pads rise 10.5 mm on detection and suction rises with them, which covers low and medium pile. Deep shag exceeds that clearance and is still worth excluding by hand.
Reaching arms clean what a round robot circles around, and they add two more moving mechanisms to keep working.
Bagless emptying saves the cost of bags; the price is a loud empty cycle that Gear Diary flagged.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
