Roborock

All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | S20 Infinity Ultra | Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable but exceeds what compact homes typically require. Stain-targeting and flagship dock overkill for minimal soiling. | GoodIndependent lab testing estimated about 1,208 sq ft per charge, enough for a home this size in one run. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodMulti-room scheduling and LiDAR mapping well-suited. Stain-targeting useful for daily traffic areas. | GoodRecharge and resume plus efficient navigation let it finish larger homes, per independent lab testing. |
| Over 3,000they differ | GoodMulti-floor mapping and zone scheduling handle sprawling layouts. Single-session coverage depends on room count and route optimization. | DependsThe 240 mL bin can overflow before docking, and battery endurance tested below average. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodMop pads and stain-jet nozzles perform well on tile and sealed wood. Dock water management standard. | GoodA hands-on review found oatmeal, rice and coffee beans cleared from hard floors in one run. |
| Low / medium pile | GoodLiDAR and mop lift handle low pile effectively. Stain-targeting useful for ground-in traffic paths. | GoodIndependent lab testing measured 94% embedded sand removal from medium-pile carpet, one of its highest results. |
| High pile / shag | DependsOwner reports from related models document suction loss on shag and high-pile. Mop function redundant on thick carpet. | DependsA hands-on review found a fluffy high-pile rug hard for it to clean and to drive across. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Charge time, Noise.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
You are paying flagship money for a vacuum-mop hybrid where the FocusJet pre-spray remains unproven in field conditions. The station otherwise mirrors established self-empty and self-wash designs; the novel part has no multi-month owner track record.
The pressurized spray system adds station failure modes absent from simpler self-empty vacuums: two atomizing nozzles that can clog, and a solution circuit to keep clear. Periodic nozzle inspection joins the routine.
The retracting LiDAR buys a 3.14 in profile; the 240 mL bin is the space it gave up.
Carpet and mopping results led the independent lab’s averages, while obstacle avoidance fell below its predecessor.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
