Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro

The dock washes and dries mop pads at temperatures usually reserved for pricier docks, but structured-light sensors cannot see a charging cable the way a camera-equipped flagship can.

Auto Mop Removal parks the mop before carpet; carpet-border misreads however still let the robot begin mopping onto an area rug until a no-mop zone is drawn.

2.4GHz-only Wi-Fi: a home running a merged or 5GHz-first network may need to split bands before the robot will connect.

Trifo Lucy

Camera vSLAM without LiDAR recognizes what an object actually is and routes around it, but it depends on a clean lens and a mapped room, where a laser measures geometry regardless.

A 600 ml bin is large for a robot this size and holds a week of debris, but there is no self-emptying base, so clearing it is always a manual step.

Who each one is wrong for

There is no self-emptying dock. The 600 ml bin is large for the category and typically needs emptying once or twice a week, but it is still a manual step, as is rinsing the mop pad after a wet run.
Users without reliable WiFi 2.4GHz connectivity
Lucy does not support 5GHz band; homes with only 5GHz networks require separate 2.4GHz access point. Offline cleaning operates but skips app notifications.
Buyers who do not want a networked camera in the house
The camera that navigates also serves as a home monitor. It streams live 1080p video with infrared night vision to the app, captures motion-triggered clips and can be viewed remotely, and that imagery is handled through the Trifo Cloud. Anyone who wants a vacuum without a connected camera should look at a LiDAR-based machine.

  • Monthly: Empty or replace the dock’s self-sealing dust bag and wipe the water tank.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace mop pads and inspect the main brush for wear.
  • Every 3-6 months: Rinse or replace the washable filter per manufacturer guidance.
  • Annually: Replace the side brush and check the dock’s heating element for scale buildup.
  • As needed: Reseat the dust-roller compartment if the robot will not dock; one review documented this out of the box.
Trifo Lucy
  • Daily: Visual dock inspection; clear any debris blocking the contact points.
  • Weekly: Empty the 600 ml dust bin, typically once or twice a week; remove hair from the side brush.
  • After each mop run: Empty the 100 ml water reservoir, detach the velcro cloth pad and rinse it, and let it dry before refitting.
  • Monthly: Wipe the camera and depth-sensor windows with a dry cloth; clean the wheels and remove lint.
  • Every 3 months: Replace the HEPA filter. Trifo’s published guidance is quarterly for best filtering quality.
  • As needed: Tangle removal from brush bristles; reboot if navigation response feels sluggish.
