A mop rinsed during the run addresses the dirty-pad problem, and the whole claim rests on Narwal’s own figures until someone tests it on a real floor.

Two cameras replace LiDAR for mapping: strong at recognizing objects, but no one has published how it navigates a dark room.

Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

Automatic recognition of up to four levels removes the manual map step, but every level still shares one dock, so the robot has to be carried between them.

The roller mop is washed by the dock during the run rather than swapped by hand, which removes the pad-changing chore and adds a dock that needs a permanent level spot with mains power.

Cloud-enabled scheduling and remote starts tie operation to WiFi availability and account login for full feature set.

The roller mop lifts up to 15mm automatically when carpet is detected, so carpeted rooms are vacuumed rather than mopped. Nothing has to be removed and no mode has to be selected, but a fully carpeted home uses little of what the mopping dock is for.
Privacy-first users avoiding cloud account requirements
Full app features require WiFi registration and account creation. Local-only operation models exist with less advanced mapping.
Frequent-obstacle homes expecting minimal user intervention
Level III autonomy handles pre-mapped spaces but temporary clutter requires app-based zone exclusion. Daily obstacle clearing still expected.

  • As needed: Refill the dock’s clean-water tank and empty its dirty-water tank as the app prompts.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace the 2.4 L dock dust bag, rated by Narwal for up to 120 days.
  • Monthly: Wipe both RGB camera windows and the cliff sensors.
  • Monthly: Check the anti-tangle main brush and side brush for debris.
  • As needed: Replace the FlowWash track mop, filter and brushes as they wear.

  • After every use: Nothing. The dock empties the bin and washes and dries the roller mop.
  • Weekly: Wipe the sensor windows on the top and underside, check the side brush for wound hair.
  • Monthly: Wash or replace the filter, rinse the dock wash tray, check the clean and dirty water tanks.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace the dust bag as the app prompts, deep clean the wheels and brush head, inspect the dock water line for mineral buildup.
  • Annually: Replace the main brush and the mop roller if not already done, drain the dock and clean the reservoir filter, run a descaling cycle in hard-water areas.
  • As needed: Remap floors if the home layout changes, troubleshoot WiFi if the connection drops, clear any stuck debris.
