Lefant

Up to three
All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Lefant M1 | Bosch Built-in Vacuum… |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqftthey differ | GoodLiDAR mapping and documented 165-min runtime comfortably cover compact footprints in a single session. | DependsBosch publishes no runtime or coverage figure, so fit for this size cannot be confirmed yet. |
| 1,500 – 3,000they differ | GoodMid-size homes fall within the M1's single-charge range; auto-recharge covers any overflow across sessions. | DependsNo runtime or coverage-per-charge figure exists to confirm a home this size in one run. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsVery large or complex layouts may require multiple recharge cycles; no documented zone-scheduling cap limits coverage. | DependsNo coverage figure is published, and the single kitchen station limits reach on large layouts. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | Good4000 Pa suction and flat-pad mop are well-matched to hard floors; owner reports confirm consistent debris pickup. | GoodTwo rotating pads washed at 167°F target hard floors, with 20,000 Pa suction, per Bosch. |
| Low / medium pile | GoodOwner reports describe consistent pickup on low-pile and Berber carpet within the M1's suction range. | GoodBosch says the mop pads lift 9 mm when carpet is detected. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document reduced suction and brush engagement on high-pile and shag surfaces. | DependsA 9 mm mop lift and no published carpet test leave deep pile unconfirmed. |
| Mopping needs | ||
| Vacuum only | GoodVacuums first; the mop pad is optional. | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. |
| Light mopping | GoodFlat mop pad handles light, routine wiping of hard floors. | GoodActive mopping system covers routine floors easily. |
| Frequent moppingthey differ | DependsA dragged pad freshens floors but lacks the pressure or scrubbing for heavy, frequent mopping. | GoodPressure or rotating mop with self-wash is built for frequent mopping. |
| Upkeep you accept | ||
| Regular upkeep | GoodAbout 45 minutes of upkeep a month. | GoodAbout 15 minutes of upkeep a month. |
| Some upkeep | GoodAbout 45 minutes of upkeep a month. | GoodAbout 15 minutes of upkeep a month. |
| Minimal upkeepthey differ | DependsAbout 45 minutes of upkeep a month. Minimal is 30 or less. | GoodAbout 15 minutes of upkeep a month, and the dock empties the bin. |
A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Price, Runtime, Charge time, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
LiDAR mapping at a budget price comes paired with a manual dustbin: no dock station exists for the M1, so emptying is a per-session task, not a weekly one.
The flat-pad mop is genuine hardware, not a marketing inclusion. It functions as a light finishing pass on sealed hard floors; it is not a substitute for targeted scrubbing on dried or ground-in residue.
The dock disappears into the cabinetry, and so does the option to move or replace the robot without a fitter.
Plumbed water ends tank chores; no independent test has yet measured how well it cleans.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
