The 2-in-1 design offers convenience and lower cost, but the small water tank forces frequent refilling and reduces operational independence.

Gyroscope-only navigation is inexpensive and low-power, but delivers less spatial awareness and coverage consistency than LiDAR systems.

Yeedi C14 Pro Plus

Dust is automated for 45 days; water is automated for zero.

Because the pad never lifts, carpet protection depends on carpet detection and no-mop zones working every run, and no independent test has checked either yet.

Who each one is wrong for

Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.

Homes with rugs that have to stay dry
No keep-out zones and no room selection, so a mopping run cannot be routed around a rug from the app. Rugs must be lifted or physically blocked before every mop run, which is the chore a zone-capable model removes.
Complex, cluttered floor plans
Gyro drift and no room mapping cause significant coverage gaps around furniture and obstacles. Frequent manual replanning needed.
Owners with dark, reflective, or patterned floors
Gyroscope visual sensors degrade on high-contrast or reflective surfaces. Navigation performance inconsistent in these environments.

A flat, non-rotating pad on a 300 mL tank with no detergent dispensing wipes; it does not scrub set-in residue.
Buyers who need a published runtime before committing
Yeedi has published no battery capacity, runtime or charge time for this model, so single-charge coverage of a large home is unknown.

  • After every use: Empty dust bin; remove and rinse the mop pad, then let it dry.
  • Every mop run: Fill the water reservoir by hand; expect a refill after one to two rooms.
  • Weekly: Check side brush and main brush for hair; clean with provided tool.
  • Every 30 pad uses: Replace the mop pad; iRobot rates the washable pad for up to 30 uses.
  • Every 3-6 months: Inspect dock contacts and wheel gears for debris.
  • Annually: Replace main brush if bristles fray; cost $30-40.
Yeedi C14 Pro Plus
  • As needed: Empty the dock’s bagless 1.5 L bin, rated to hold up to 45 days of debris; no dust bags to buy.
  • After every use: Remove and hand-wash the flat OZMO mop pad after mopping runs, since the dock neither washes nor dries it.
  • As needed: Fill the robot’s 300 mL onboard water tank before each mopping run.
  • Monthly: Check the anti-tangle main brush and side brush for wrapped hair.
