All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Eureka J15 Ultra | eufy Omni C30 |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqftthey differ | GoodCompact homes benefit from auto-dock refill and mop retraction; no range constraints for sub-1500 sqft single-floor layouts. | DependsRuntime and coverage are unpublished before launch. |
| 1,500 – 3,000they differ | GoodIdeal fit range. Runtime and dock refill cadence scale well for 2-3 scheduled runs weekly across mixed floor types. | DependsNo battery or runtime figure exists yet to confirm coverage at this size. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsRequires multiple passes per cycle; runtime constraints may necessitate 2-3 sessions weekly for thorough coverage. | DependsNo runtime, coverage area or large-home test has been published. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodScrubExtend mopping targets hard floors; mop pads run continuously on sealed wood, tile, and vinyl. | GoodDual rotating mops target hard floors like kitchens and bathrooms, per eufy. |
| Low / medium pilethey differ | GoodScrubExtend automatically retracts mop on detected low-pile carpet. Vacuuming performance is standard for the category. | Dependseufy targets carpeted areas, but mop lift on rugs has not been published. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports on Eureka mop-combos document reduced suction effectiveness on deep shag carpet; dedicated vacuums recommended. | DependsNo mop lift figure or carpet test exists for this model before launch. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Runtime, Charge time, Noise, Weight, Height.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
Mopping adds capability but requires weekly mop-pad maintenance; one feature trades hands-off claims for consumable churn.
IntelliView pairs LiDAR with an RGB camera, an LED lamp and a line laser to recognize objects, so the obstacle avoidance runs on a camera operating inside the home. The recognition that keeps the robot off cables and pet waste is the same hardware a privacy-sensitive household has to accept.
Saving $100 against the C30 Edge gives up the extending mop head, and eufy has published nothing else that separates the two.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
