Dock footprint and maintenance friction offset the aggressive pricing. A station that empties, refills, washes and dries is a lot of function for the money, but it holds floor space permanently and the bags, pads and brushes remain a recurring cost.

Dreame rates a single charge at 200 m2 in quiet vacuum-only mode; mopping and higher suction settings cut that figure. Larger homes still finish, but across recharges rather than in one pass.

Dust is automated for 45 days; water is automated for zero.

Because the pad never lifts, carpet protection depends on carpet detection and no-mop zones working every run, and no independent test has checked either yet.

Homes with unstable or band-locked Wi-Fi

5 GHz-only networks prevent app pairing and mapping features entirely. Fallback emergency mode offers no app control; multi-floor mapping becomes unavailable.

Carpet-primary homes

Mop pads lift about 10 mm on carpet detection, which clears low-pile rugs but not deep or shag pile. A carpet-primary home gets little use from the mop hardware or the dock functions built around it.

Owners expecting zero dock maintenance

The clean-water tank is refilled by hand and the dirty-water tank emptied by hand; Dreame specifies ordinary tap water. The auto-empty base takes disposable bags. The dock automates the work rather than removing it.

Apartments under 1,200 sqft with limited space

Dock footprint (23x18x14 inches) occupies significant bathroom or closet space. All-in-one design saves space vs. separate units but remains bulky for compact homes.

Owners unwilling to handle firmware updates

Firmware installs through the Dreame app. Dreame publishes no release notes for this model, so the content of an update is not knowable in advance and app behavior can change between versions.

Owners who want the mop pad handled without touching it

Vacuum Wars lists no mop washing, drying or hot-water washing. The pad comes off and gets washed by hand after mopping runs.

Networks without a 2.4GHz band available

The robot connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. A 5GHz-only router, or a mesh that hides the 2.4GHz band, blocks setup.

Matter-based smart homes

Matter Alpha notes the C14 PRO PLUS is the one model in Yeedi's 2026 Prime Day lineup without Matter support, and Vacuum Wars confirms it.

Kitchens needing scrubbing of sticky or dried spills

A flat, non-rotating pad on a 300 mL tank with no detergent dispensing wipes; it does not scrub set-in residue.

Buyers who need a published runtime before committing

Yeedi has published no battery capacity, runtime or charge time for this model, so single-charge coverage of a large home is unknown.
